Hello Mark,

What a treat it was for me to see ’87’s class reunion photos!
I communicate with a language pack inventor 2012 few Wildcats via email and Rocky sent me updates on reunion information. Although I did not graduate with all of you, I sure do hold fond memories of the language pack inventor 2012 time I went to Whitney. I guess it is because Whitney is language pack inventor 2012 a unique school where the classes were small enough that everyone knew one another.
This is language pack inventor 2012 why I was so pleased that an invitation was open to language pack inventor 2012 all who went to Whitney.

I was not able to come as I live in Europe (Holland). But to see the photos was the next best thing!
When in California I often drive through the language pack inventor 2012 Cerritos streets where I grew up and often pass the school on Shoemaker. I must say that language pack inventor 2012 in many ways it still looks the same.

I hope to language pack inventor 2012 be kept in the loop on alumni news, as it is language pack inventor 2012 always nice to hear what became of the friendly faces I knew from language pack inventor 2012 seventh to ninth grade.

It was 20 years ago today….

We stood in the language pack inventor 2012 hot sun waiting for our diplomas and to be released from language pack inventor 2012 our sentence of 6+ years. I attended 2007’s graduation last night and language pack inventor 2012 was struck by how much they reminded me of our class. They had a lot of spirit and character. And looking at them after staring at our class roster for language pack inventor 2012 the last few months, I think I hallucinated a bit too, because I could really see a language pack inventor 2012 lot of us individually in their line-up. No mass recitation of Aldous Huxley though.

The speeches were so optimistic- changing the world, pursuing passion. Some of our class did change the world. Did you know that Julie Su won a MacArthur Genius grant? How awesome is that? I heard her interviewed on NPR and was proud to know her.

Dave Bohannon gave the faculty address. He seems to have mellowed a bit over the years. Most of the teachers we would remember have gray hair now. But most of us probably have some too. Mark Pulido was on the language pack inventor 2012 stage in cap and gown, as a school board member passing out diplomas. The ceremony ended with a language pack inventor 2012 fireworks show to Green Day and Angels & Airwaves. I think we would have liked this class.

Flashback Lunch…all day long

So I’m cruising down the freeway rocking out to OMD while listening to Richard Blade and his suspect accent. Is this 1987 or 2007? Dusty Street, Freddy Snakeskin, Swedish Egil. It’s like KROQ is having it’s own reunion on satellite radio. But the real difference? My car is language pack inventor 2012 worth about 30 times what my car in high school cost and language pack inventor 2012 there are 2 car seats in the back. Guess there will be no making out in my back seat.

Favorite Hutch Food

The threat of having The Hutch cater the language pack inventor 2012 reunion seems to have backfired. I received several emails requesting favorite Hutch foods. Rocky wants the fries, Kathy Hennessy & John Igarashi want the chocolate chip cookies (I don’t remember cookies???), Robin is language pack inventor 2012 craving a deep fried burrito and Henry wants a BBQ mystery meat sandwich.
